Combat Paper: Drop-in Workshops
April 21 - 22, 2012, 1 - 4pm
In conjunction with Yelling Clinic, we are pleased to invite the general public to drop in on a unique and compelling collaborative art-making project facilitated by Drew Cameron from Combat Paper. Combat Paper uses traditional hand papermaking to facilitate inter-generational workshops with veterans, family members, and the non-veteran community in the transformation of clothing rags into paper, prints, books, and art. Through the hand papermaking process, the clothing is deconstructed, transformed, and altered into paper sheets that accentuate those individual and collective stories. Materials will be provided on a drop-in basis and the process and participation is open to all ages. Please join us!
