We are a little more than 1 mile from both the North Berkeley and Downtown Berkeley BART stations.

From the North Berkeley Station:
To walk, cross Sacramento, headed north, and head up Cedar to Walnut (one block past Shattuck). Turn left and walk three blocks to the north end of Live Oak Park. Berkeley Art Center is on your right.

From the Downtown Berkeley Station:
To walk, head north up Shattuck to Rose, turn right, and then make the next left on Walnut. Berkeley Art Center will be on your right.
To take AC Transit bus #9 or #18, cross Shattuck upon exiting the station and wait at the bus stop at the corner of Center St. Ask the driver to let you off at Rose St. Walk uphill on Rose, then turn left onto Walnut to 1275.

After you come out of either BART station, there are also usually taxis waiting. The taxi fare to the Berkeley Art Center will be about $6.50.
