Annual National Juried Exhibition

July 23- August 26, 2006

The Berkeley Art Center’s 23rd Annual National Juried Exhibition opens on July 23rd with an engaging group of works selected by jurors Paule Anglim (Director of Gallery Paule Anglim in San Francisco) and Mildred Howard (artist and professor at the San Francisco Art Institute).  Awards will be announced at the reception.  Out of more than 1500 slides submitted by nearly 400 artists, only 26 pieces of work were chosen for the exhibition.  The artwork was selected within three categories - painting, mixed media, and sculpture.  Artists in the exhibition are from across the country.
