Rhythm & Muse
Each month on a Saturday during 2009, 7:00–9:00 pm (See listing below for dates)

Eliza Shefler and Berkeley Art Center host Rhythm & Muse, an open-mic/performance program open to musicians and writers from all walks of life. Many participants are new to the experience of performance and flourish in the supportive environment of the quiet and peaceful gallery at the Berkeley Art Center.

Music often accompanies poetry so that listeners hear and feel the way these two mediums enhance each other. The presence of the center’s current visual art exhibition adds to the depth of the experience. Regular participants are strongly encouraged to become members of the Berkeley Art Center, and can join on-line through our membership page.

Rhythm & Muse receives the generous support of many volunteers that help with set-up and program logistics.

For more information, please call Eliza at 510-527-9753, or e-mail her at sheflerium [at] earthlink.net.
