COLLECT! features work from over 70 outstanding artists in an exhibition that culminates in a gala event on Saturday, July 14 at Berkeley Art Center. Join us for a exciting evening of music, food, and celebrity entertainment, and secure your bids to acquire one-of-a-kind, extraordinary works of art. Silent auction bidding will close at 7:30pm!

Participating artists include Hung Liu, Kim Anno, Eva Bovenzi, Robert Brady, Squeak Carnwath, Richard Lang and Judith Selby Lang, Jeannie O'Connor, and Katherine Westerhout, just to name a few! The full list can be viewed by clicking here.

Don’t Know, We’ll See: The Work of Karen Karnes

Film Screening

In conjunction with a retrospective exhibition at the Crocker Art Museum, Berkeley Art Center is pleased to host a screening of this amazing documentary on the life and work of Karen Karnes, master clay artist and one of the pioneers of the 20th century craft movement. Berkeley filmmaker and producer/director of the film, Lucy Phenix, will make introductory remarks. Join us for a beautiful summer evening and an opportunity to witness this inspiring life.

Chris BrownLate-Summer Soiree at the studio of Chris Brown
A benefit for Berkeley Art Center
Thursday, August 30, 6:30pm

The evening will start at 6:30 with drinks at Chris Brown’s expansive and beautiful West Berkeley studio, followed by a scrumptious, seasonal catered dinner by Tom McKinley and Ann Weber. Chris has graciously agreed to host and will talk informally about his work through a salon-style discussion format over dessert. 

$150 per person
All proceeds benefit Berkeley Art Center
