Science Imagined:

An Exhibition of the Book as Art

October 27 - December 29, 1996

Curated by Susannah Hays, essays by Robin Rider, PhD, curator of special collections at University of Wisconsin, and Jaime Robles, editor of 5 Fingers Review

"The exhibition Science Imagined has called forth lively explorations of the book and of science old and new. The results stretch our understanding of both form and content, and in so doing prompt us to consider important links between the scientific books and the art of the book more generally."

It included work by some of the foremost artists working in the field today, including : Leda Black, Kathleen Burch, Francois Deschamps and Judith Mohns, Marie Dern, Charles Hobson, Katherine Ng, Indigo Som, Donna and Peter Thomas, and Kathleen Walkup.
