14th Annual Berkeley Youth Arts Festival

March 8 - April 1, 2006

This exhibition showcased the creative accomplishments of students from Berkeley High School Arts and Humanitites Academy (AHA) and Advanced Placement Art Students.

AHA, then in its first year, was a small school program within Berkeley High School designed to inspire greater levels of academic achievement by linking student interest and talent in the arts to all aspects of their educational experience. The theme of this 2006 festival was "Super Heroes." Miriam Stahl (a visual artist and 11th year teacher at Berkeley High) was one of two Lead Teachers for the AHA Program and worked in conjunction with BAC to cordinate the exhibition for the 2006 festival. Other teachers involved included Linda Carr, Jordan Winer, and Eric Norberg. This festival also included several performing and literary events and workshops.
